Do we get the same engineer every month, or does it rotate? +
Yes, you are assigned a dedicated lead engineer who stays with your project to build deep context of your product ecosystem, tolerances, and vendors. If we need to pull in specialists for advanced simulation (FEA) or DFM audits, your lead engineer coordinates it and remains your primary contact.
How are revisions handled in multi-month projects? +
We utilize a strict Version Control system, ensuring every modification is chronologically documented with clear technical rationales without disrupting the primary development timeline.
Can we pause or cancel the retainer early? +
Yes. While commitments help secure dedicated capacity, we understand project timelines shift. You can pause or cancel the retainer with a 30-day notice, allowing us to wrap up active sprints and package your files.
What happens to our files and documentation when the retainer ends? +
All deliverables, including native CAD files, assembly models, GD&T drawings, and simulation reports, are packaged and securely transferred to you. IP assignment is fully finalized upon receipt of your last monthly payment.
How does Edelweis guarantee the accuracy of FEA simulations? +
We use industry-standard solvers and perform manual algorithmic verification on critical areas to ensure virtual simulation results accurately reflect real-world physical conditions.
Are there any hidden costs during the contract period? +
